Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the first conversion take longer?

The tool must download the FFmpeg WebAssembly core library (approx. 30MB) to your browser on the first run. Subsequent conversions are much faster because the library is cached.

Can I convert large videos?

Because processing happens in browser memory, very large videos or long durations may cause your browser tab to crash. It is recommended to keep videos under 100MB and durations under 15 seconds.

Privacy First

The video conversion executes entirely within your device's memory using WebAssembly. Your video files are never uploaded. Note: The tool downloads the FFmpeg WASM binary from the unpkg CDN on initial load.
